Million Dollar Bill

Silent night
Dimming light
Walking on a clueless lane
Have I really gone insane?

Goal of life
For which I strife
For many mighty battles fought
My sword in the blood it sought

Running, running miles
With fake smiles
Ignoring the moving hands of time
Until I hear the satanic chime

Through my time of young and bold
Though I made a mine of gold
Now, when I am sick and old
Wish I spent the time to see the world

I saw not the ocean’s blue
Nor felt the season’s hue
My life’s been a complete trance
For all I am left with is repentance

Running, running miles
Still with this fake smile
My body lay cold and still
In a casket filled with a million dollar bill

Few Minutes Crush

In the midst of the night
Alone with books on the table
Thinking I must do right
Life isn’t a fable

As my untamed mind deviates
As in a dream I open the internet
Her face which no one can retaliate
In my ears I hear the sweet sound of a clarinet

The ice breaker of my heart
Lie frozen in my screen
Purely a god’s craftsman’s art
She was my hearts summer green

But I hear my books calling
Hesitantly shutting off the laptop in a rush
Back to the world without feeling
Never saw her again...story of my unanswered crush...

Early winters of life- ( part 1)

Life is like a year revolving around seasons; the spring, summer, autumn and winter. Every season can be metaphorically compared to life. For some the winters become really hard. This story is about a boy experiencing the harsh winters of his life. The hurricanes of misfortune shattering his early dreams, yet so young the axe of life has caught his neck, moving him closer to death every minute.

It was a usual morning for me, the alarm rings hard, I drag my self to the ward classes, cursing the classes during odd times. I was taking the history of a patient, I turn back and see a small boy with NG(nasogastric) tubes shoved up his tiny nostrils and rusted ECG buttons stuck on his tender chest.
